| On
November, 4th we went to the Smithlive
dam. We were going to clean place from the grass,
old trees for the future park. This place was
very nice. There was a Grand river and beautiful
trees round it. We began working. Almost
all American parents and American children helped
us. It was interesting. Some of us worked with
rakes, other threw leaves in the fire. Then we
had a little pause. We ate some chips and
began to work again. Suddenly we saw a
journalist. She was a very nice woman. We chated
a little. She wondered that we thought about
America and American people. And the next day we
saw our photo and a small article about us in the
local newspaper.
When we stopped working,
we had a lunch. We fried hotdogs ourselves. It
was funny. After lunch we went home.
